We now have 27 people enrolled for this tour, including our four chaperones. It will be a very fun and exciting group, and I am definitely looking forward to the next year of planning, fundraising, and getting excited! Europe Club meetings began today. Here is the plan for the next few meetings:
Today: JOBS Ms. Buffen explained how to fill out a job application using a Starbucks application as a sample. Students can find other job opportunities on this website as well as a google search. Another great way to find a job is to go into a store where you would like to work, such as The Children's Place or a supermarket, and ask if they are hiring. They almost always have applications, and if they aren't hiring, they may sometimes direct you to a place that is hiring. Make sure to visit Ms. Headen in guidance in order to get your working papers.
Friday, March 14: Join us at lunch to watch clips from Rick Steves Europe videos. Check out Rick Steves website, which is full of great travel advice and information.
We will watch scenes from Paris and Madrid. We will also discuss Friday's bake sale! Make sure to bring something. The more we have, the more money we can make! If you do not attend this meeting or contribute to the bake sale, you will not have any money added to your account.
Tuesday, March 18: Prepare for the Bake Sale. Learn how to access your tour account on the website [consult your confirmation email, then enter the account number, tour number and password when you LOG IN to eftours.com]. We'll have school lunch sandwiches available.
Monday, March 24: Begin watching National Lampoon's European Vacation.
Tuesday, March 24: Complete National Lampoon's European Vacation and discuss what we thought. We'll also begin to plan our first major fundraiser -- A dance or a talent show.

These meetings are not always mandatory, but it is strongly suggested that you attend in order to prepare for the trip. When a meeting is mandatory, we will let you know.
