WBAFF Europe Trip 2009 presents… A Walk Up Broadway!!!
What: A Walk Up Broadway, from 14th Street to 110th street
When: Sunday, July 6th at 6pm
Why: To raise money for the WBAFF Europe Trip 2009 and have fun with friends and trip members. We'll also learn a lot about the city as we walk up Broadway, through many neighborhoods. Most people do not get to see the city this way. We will stop for snacks and take lots of pictures as we walk. Don’t miss this great event!
What to do before: Go to your neighbors, friends and family asking for donations -- with a suggested donation of $10. [Gladly accept anything, though]. Explain what you are going to do and why.
Ask your friends if they want to join you for the walk. If they join you, they should get at least 2 pledges from one of THEIR friends.
Trip members and chaperones will be fundraising and walking on this trip which will begin at 6pm on Sunday, July 6th, 2008. It should take 3-4 hours, depending on our speed.
**On the day of the walk, be sure to:
Bring a minimum of $25 and your completed Sponsor Sheet
Wear comfortable shoes and loose clothing
Bring a water bottle
Bring a camera
Invite friends and family members
